SharedSafe is an advanced utility designed to turn email accounts into online file storage. With SharedSafe you can share and synchronize any number of local folders across multiple computers. SharedSafe uses an encrypted file system to store your files in Email accounts.
The keys for this encryption will not be known to the provider of the Email account and they will not be known to the makers of SharedSafe. Server based file sharing which is truly confidential. You remain the true and sole owner of your data. And that is the way it should be. Details about SharedSafe SharedSafe is a file sharing application. In order to use it you only have to install it. SharedSafe is not a service.
There is no sign up involved. Once you have created a set of linked folders - possibly on a number of different computers - you rarely need to interact with SharedSafe again. Whenever you add some files to a linked folder the SharedSafe synchronizes them in the background to all other linked folders regardless on which computer.
And when someone else has added files to a linked folder on another computer then SharedSafe downloads them for you and notifies you with its tray icon. SharedSafe is seamlessly integrated with Windows. When you need to interact with SharedSafe it is just a mouse click away in Windows - Explorer's context menu.
